Join us for this luxury three-day Premier Class weekend break staying at the 4* Heathrow/Windsor Marriott Hotel and featuring excursions to three first class attractions.

Waterperry Gardens was made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971. They are now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, museum and tea shop.

Brooklands - the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge, Surrey in 1907 - was more than a great sporting arena. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century.

Polesden Lacey House, near Dorking, has glorious views across the rolling Surrey Hills and acres of countryside to explore.  It was home to the famous Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville, who entertained royalty and the celebrities of her time. Marvel at the glittering Gold Saloon designed to impress kings and maharajahs, or Mrs Greville's extensive collection of art and ceramics ranging from world-famous Dutch old masters to sparkling Fabergé objects. The gardens offer something for every season, including climbing roses which are at their best in June, a beautiful herbaceous border and a winter garden bursting with yellow aconites. The wider estate has four waymarked trails with plenty of space to let off steam on a walk through woodland or over rolling hills.

Tour Itinerary

SATURDAY – From your local departure point, we head for WATERPERRY GARDENS near Oxford (Admission Included), which have been featured on BBC Gardeners World earlier this year. Waterperry Gardens were made famous by Beatrix Havergal who established her School of Horticulture for Ladies here from 1932 to 1971. They are now home to 8 acres of beautifully landscaped ornamental gardens, a quality plant centre and garden shop, gallery and gift shop, museum and tea shop.

We arrive around lunchtime, the afternoon is then yours to enjoy some lunch and free time exploring these fascinating gardens. Mid-afternoon, it is time to bid farewell to Waterperry Gardens as we head to your weekend hotel – the 4* Hilton Cobham Hotel. On arrival, enjoy some leisure time before dinner is served in the hotel restaurant this evening. (Meals - Dinner)

SUNDAY – This Morning following breakfast, we come to what must be the major highlight of this tour, a full day visit to BROOKLANDS MUSEUM (Admission Included) – the birthplace of British Motorsport & Aviation and home of Concorde.

Before arriving at the museum we take you on a short tour of the wider Brooklands Estate by coach. You will see some of the remaining heritage and features of Brooklands heyday that are not part of the museum site. On arrival at the museum (admission included), the day is then yours to explore this 30-acre site at your leisure. Brooklands was the World's first purpose built motor racing circuit. Here you can view the Club House, Wellington Hanger, Motoring Village housing a collection of Motor Vehicles, Aviation Park and the London Bus Museum plus Mercedes Benz World. We have also included a virtual “flight” experience on the Brooklands Concorde (Admission Included) and there will be an optional chance to experience the new Brooklands 4D Theatre (Admission Extra) - experience what it was like to drive round the famous Brooklands circuit in the famous Napier Railton or fly with the Red Arrows or travel round Le Mans in Mike Hawthorns Jaguar.

Late afternoon, we depart Brooklands and return to your hotel to enjoy some leisure time ahead of dinner this evening. (Meals - Breakfast, Dinner)
