Where can you experience what it was like to fly on Concorde, experience the early years of British Motorsport, travel back to the 1930's and visit the Queen's favourite weekend home?

Join us for this fascinating three-day break to the south of England, which includes a visit to Brooklands Museum! We also include visits to Bekonscot 1930s Model Village & Railway and the Royal Borough of Windsor.

Tour Highlights -

Brooklands - the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge, Surrey in 1907 - was more than a great sporting arena. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century.

Brooklands Concorde Experience - Brooklands Museum is home to Concorde G-BBDG the first production standard Concorde to carry 100 people at twice the speed of sound! Now that her flying days are over, visitors to the museum can re-live the excitement of the supersonic age in this fascinating 35-minute Concorde ‘flight’ evoking emotional memories. Take your seat as the Captain welcomes you and he is given the instruction ... “Concorde Speedbird One cleared for take-off...”. Using ‘sensonic’ technology, see, hear and feel Concorde blast along the runway, soar into the sky and accelerate to Mach 2 - twice the speed of sound!

Bekonscot 1930s Model Village, Railway & Gardens - located near Beaconsfield is the world's oldest and original model village, opening for the first time in 1929. With over 80 years of history, a huge model railway, 1.5 acres of well kept gardens and finely-detailed model buildings, Bekonscot is a great day out for everyone. Stuck in a 1930s time warp, see England how it used to be, and discover a wonderful little world tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Windsor - From iconic attractions and world-class events to beautiful open countryside and the River Thames, the Royal Borough offers such a wide range of things to do, and is the perfect destination for everybody. For heritage lovers, there's Windsor Castle – the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world and The Queen's favourite weekend home! The town also offers great entertainment, excellent shopping and fine eating and drinking.

The Napier-Railton Race Experience

Experience a ‘Ride’ on the Original Brooklands Race Track in the 24-Litre Napier-Railton

Inside the Balloon Hangar building, we have created a 4D Theatre that provides the closest experience any living person will have of “driving” around the Brooklands Race Track at 100mph.

Visitors to the Museum can now take their seats for the ride of their life in a brand new, state-of-the-art 4D Theatre. Just as John Cobb and Sir Malcolm Campbell did in the 1930s, you can now see, hear, feel and even smell what it would have been like to race around the concrete banked circuit in a pre-War racing car.
